Tayko Jones: Album Release Party!

Tayko Jones is an original band consisting of saxophonist Joel Shotwell, Guitarist Mark Romanowski, Bass and cellist Jon Bakken, and Drummer Christian DeJong. They will be releasing their debut album self titled "Tayko Jones" for the first time at these shows. Their music can best be described in Romanoski's words as "Garage Jazz". It draws from the grunge sounds from the 80's and 90's as well as sounds from fusion and traditional jazz music. Inside the music is freedom for improvisation and exploration with a foundation of groove and tone.
