Join us for another comedy night featuring live music and live stand-up comedy! 6:30 pm Live Music with the Trio Trio 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm Stand-Up Comedy with headliner Nate Abshire 8:30 pm More live music with the Trio Trio! In 2013 Nate performed at Laughfest's “Best of the Midwest” contest finishing runner-up, and by this point, became very tired of losing comedy contests. He gave it another try in 2014 on NBC's "Last Comic Standing," but again did not win. Since then Nate has opened for some of the best comedians of all time, whose names you would know and recognize. He also finally won a comedy contest in 2020 - The Coast to Coast Roast. Nate released his debut, award-winning album "Coming in Hot" on 800lb Gorilla Records in 2021. Audiences love his sardonic wit, keen writing, and playful stage presence. He currently lives in Minneapolis with his cat and doesn't trust the government.
